Federal government agencies nominate candidates directly to the APSA. See Prospective Fellow Resources for additional information. Other sponsor organizations maintain their own application procedures. For more information on these procedures and on application deadlines, please see the links below.

Organizations interested in partnering with the APSA Congressional Fellowship Program to sponsor a fellow for the first time may contact the APSA Congressional Fellowship Program office at cfp@apsanet.org. The program welcomes inquiries from organizations interested in sponsoring at least one fellow a year for a fulltime fellowship placement within the legislative branch.
