The National Capital Area Political Science Association (NCAPSA) is the official political science association for the National Capital Area, including the District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, Delaware, and West Virginia.  Its 600+ members include university scholars, graduate students, and practitioners of politics who share an interest in political science.

NCAPSA sponsors panel discussions, paper conferences, and member-only events in the D.C. metropolitan area and provides information about recent publications and upcoming area events to its members.  More generally, NCAPSA seeks ways to foster connections between political scientists, political practitioners, and the public, and to further the interests of political scientists in the Capital Area.
