Coming Soon: Datasets on the Profession Available for Download

The American Political Science Association Research Team does research on the profession of political scientists, focusing on diversity, equity, and inclusion issues within the discipline and higher education. The Research Team is making some of its datasets available for APSA’s members this summer. A list of the datasets by year can be found below. For any questions about the datasets contact: surveys@apsanet.org

Included with the datasets available will be additional codebook and instrument files. These files include the survey questionnaire, and survey metadata, including a description of the survey’s data, as well as variable names that are consistent in the same curvey over multiple years. The questionnaire and codebook are a guide to the datasets. The datasets will be available in .csv, Excel, and XML formats.
