2023 MENA Mentoring Initiative (Deadline: June 11, 2023)
APSA’s MENA Program is currently accepting applications from early-career scholars who would like to participate in the MENA Mentoring Initiative. The program is an opportunity to receive feedback and comments from senior colleagues on a project-specific activity that is at an advanced stage of development.


Apply Now for Summer Centennial Center Research Grants (Deadline: June 15, 2023)

APSA Summer Centennial Center Research Grants are open to all APSA members. Grants are supported by a set of endowed funds, some of which target specific research topics. The summer application deadline also offers a limited number of grants for mini-conferences, workshops, and other collaborative projects.  


Applications Open for the APSA 2023 Fund for Latino Scholarship (Deadline: June 15, 2023)

The Fund for Latino Scholarship encourages and supports the recruitment, retention, and promotion of Latino/a political scientists. The fund also seeks to support research on Latino/a politics.


Call for Applications: 2023-2024 Public Scholarship Program (Deadline: June 15, 2023)

APSA is accepting applications to join the fifth cohort of the Public Scholarship Program fellows. This program offers remote part-time fellowships that introduces political science graduate students to the intellectual and practical aspects of presenting academic scholarship to the public.

Climate Change and Vulnerable Populations

This Call for Papers on “Climate Change and Vulnerable Populations” seeks to bridge the current discourse with empirical and theoretical research. Contributions must be submitted to PS via Editorial Manager on or before June 30, 2023.


Academic Work in the Age of AI

The editors of PS: Political Science and Politics invite submissions for a special issue about the role and impact of AI on various aspects of academic work including pedagogy, research publications, student assignments, and the ethics of authorship. Contributions must be submitted to PS via Editorial Manager on or before October 15, 2023.


Forecasting the 2024 US Elections

Forecasting of US elections has been a regular feature of PS since the 2004 contest. This special issue follows in this tradition, but seeks to open up the field to a still more diverse set of contribution.

Special Collections

A Collection of Articles from Cambridge on Abortion Politics

In the wake of the United States Supreme Court’s ruling in Dobbs v. Jackson Women’s Health Organization, which overruled long-term precedents securing the right to choose abortion Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey, we present a special collection of political science research drawn from APSA and Cambridge journals addressing the politics of abortion and abortion rights.
