Chair's Statement As the Chair of the Science, Technology and Environmental Politics (STEP) section of the American Political Science Association, I welcome you to STEP's new web site.Apart from listing information about the section, we intend for the website to also serve as a resource base for our membership. I encourage you to help us make this site a valuable resource by contributing your ideas. To get us started, I would urge you to share 1. Your favorite STEP-related bookmarks. If you don't mind sharing your resources, could you forward a few or all of the URLs for your favorite bookmarks? I think if all of us pooled in our resources, we would have a tremendous database on our website for our membership. 2. Your ideas for the site.Could you also drop me a note and let me know of other features that you would like to see on the website and we could take that into consideration as we proceed along wit this project. 3. Your nominations for a newsletter/book review editor. Our new website will provide us with the capability to have an online newsletter. Here in, I would also like to revive the STEP tradition of publishing book reviews. At this point, I would like to invite nominations from you for an editor of this newsletter and also a book reviews editor. Self nominations are welcome. I look forward to working with you.
