Hallett
Award - The George H. Hallet Award is given for a book, at least ten
years old, that has made a lasting contribution to the literature on representation
and electoral systems. 2007 Award Committee: Chairman Paul Abramson
(Michigan State University), Jack Nagel (University of Pennsylvania), and Michael Shamir (Tel-Aviv University)..
Weaver Award
- The Leon Weaver Award is given for the best paper presented at a conference
panel sponsored by the Representation and Electoral Systems Division. 2007
Award Committee: Chairman Bernard Grofman (University of California, Irvine),
Shaheen Mozaffar (Bridgewater State College), and Henk van der Kolk (University of Twente).
Longley
Award - The Lawrence Longley Award is given for the best article on
representation and electoral systems published in the previous year. 2007
Award Committee: Chairman Kenneth Carty (University of British Columbia),
Bonnie Meguid (University of Rochester), and Antoine Yoshinaka (University of
California, Riverside).
