PI SIGMA ALPHA UNDERGRADUATE JOURNAL OF POLITICS
Spring 2008 issue

Union College's Zeta Upsilon chapter of Pi Sigma Alpha is now accepting submissions for the Spring 2008 issue of The Pi Sigma Alpha Undergraduate Journal of Politics. We hope Chapter Advisors will encourage their students to submit their research.  The Journal is a student-run enterprise with an editor, deputy editor, and editorial board who are undergraduate members of Pi Sigma Alpha at Union College.  It also has an advisory board consisting of political science faculty from across the nation, including members of the Pi Sigma Alpha Executive Council.  The Journal is sponsored by the national office of Pi Sigma Alpha.

To be considered for publication in the Spring 2008 issue, students should submit their papers by February 15, 2008, although manuscripts will be accepted on a rolling basis.  The Journal welcomes submissions from undergraduates of any class or major; submissions from Pi Sigma Alpha members are especially encouraged.  The goal of the editors is to publish manuscripts of the highest quality in all areas of political science.  In general, papers selected for publication have been well-written with a well-developed thesis, compelling argument, and original analysis.  Published papers are typically 15 - 35 pages in manuscript.

Manuscripts should include a short abstract (roughly 150 words), and citations and references should follow the APSA Style Manual for Political Science.  Submissions must be in the form of a Microsoft Word document and should be emailed to psajournal@union.edu.  Please include the author's name, university, and contact details (mailing address, email address, and phone number).  Students may be asked to revise their manuscripts before they are accepted for publication.

We greatly appreciate Chapter Advisors' efforts to encourage submissions to The Pi Sigma Alpha Undergraduate Journal of Politics. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact the Journal editors, as below.  Please do not send your questions to the National Office of Pi Sigma Alpha.
