Pi Sigma Alpha Lectures
At Annual Meetings, Regional and State Associations
Pi Sigma Alpha, the national political science honor society, provides funding for lectures by political leaders or commentators at the annual meetings of all the regional political science associations and a limited number of state associations. Awards may be up to $1,000 for regional meetings and $500 for state meetings.

- Application must by made by letter to the national office of Pi Sigma Alpha. The application must include the date and location of the meeting at which the lecture will be delivered, predicted attendance, a description of how the event will be advertised, biographical information about the speaker, and the amount of funding requested. Pi Sigma Alpha must approve any substitute speaker should an original choice withdraw.
- The lecture must be advertised in the meeting program as The Pi Sigma Alpha Lecture in Politics, and the program must acknowledge that funding was provided by the national office of Pi Sigma Alpha.
