Regular Meetings and Special Events

Local  Pi Sigma Alpha chapters should hold at least one regular meeting a year to discuss chapter business and initiate new members.

They may also organize special meetings with guest speakers, student presentations, or symposia on topics of campuswide, local, or national interest, and these meetings may be open to a much wider audience than just the members of the chapter.

The more often a chapter meets, the higher its profile will be in the department and the more willing its members are likely to be to devote some of their energy and free time to PSA activities. Remember, though, that chapters may not make attendance at meetings a requirement for membership in the honor society.
