The New Political Science Section of the American Political Science Association is organized by the Caucus for a New Political Science ,
an organization of political scientists united by the idea that Political Science as an academic discipline should be committed to advancing progressive political development.  The Caucus plays an active role in the affairs of the Association, publishes a journal, New Political Science.  As a section of the APSA New Political Science organizes a group of panels for each annual association meeting, often in cooperation with other organized sections.  Members of the APSA may join the Section and thus the Caucus when they pay their annual association dues.  Paid-up members of the section receive New Political Science as part of their membership. Section dues are $20.

The New Political Science Section Sponsors Several Panels at Each American Political Science Association Annual Meeting  Members of the Section and other interested persons are urged to attend these sessions at each year's meetings as the number of panels that we are allowed to sponsor by the APSA is dependent on attendance at those we sponsor each year.
More details about the panels can be obtained from the APSA webpage for the meeting at: New Political Science Program

2007 is the 40th Anniversary of the founding of the Caucus.  The photo is of the 1969 meeting (Were you there?)
