Coming Soon: 4-Year Program Evaluation From 2008 to 2011, APSA organized four Africa Workshops to expand the capacity of political science research and education in east and west Sub-Saharan Africa. Within those four years, 93 scholars from across Africa and the United States participated in the Africa Workshops program. Over the next three years, APSA will organize an additional three Africa Workshops, brining the total number of alumni participants to approximately 175 political and social scientists. In order to better serve the needs of this growing community, APSA will issue a program evaluation to all Africa Workshop participants in January 2012. This survey is intended to track the achievements and continued professional development of all past participants and will enable APSA to develop appropriate networking and alumni services. As APSA will continue to offer an annual Africa Workshop through 2014, the results of this survey will also contribute to the success of future workshops.
