The results of the 2003-04 Council election have been certified by the Elections Committee and are thereby declared official. The eight candidates receiving the most votes (as indicated below by an *) take office on the Council effective immediately.
During the Annual Meeting in late August, there was a valid challenge to the slate of nominees for seats on the APSA Council. Consequently, APSA held an all-member vote to determine the 2003-04 Council member seats. Ballots were collected from September 29-October 29, 2003.
Total voter turn-out for the election was 4348 which is 30.1% of all eligible voters. According to other similar member associations, such as the MLA, AAA, ASA and CAA, election turn-out usually ranges from 11-25%.
