Ecological & Transformational Politics - Disbanded Group
Printer-friendly format

In accordance with APSA rules regarding the minimum size of Organized Sections (250 members), the Ecological and Transformational Politics Organized Section (#26) has disbanded, and instead become a "related group." They will exist as a related group at future APSA conferences and retain their funds, which was approved by the Organized Sections Committee. This change means they are allowed at least a single panel (and probably more as the years move forward), they can host receptions, awards, and other special activities (such as an inner-city tour or ecological outing). The group is looking forward to continuing to support innovative work within APSA, and has a foundation from which to grow in the future, should they so choose.
