Second Century Endowment Fund
The Second Century Fund lies at the heart of the Centennial Campaign. All unrestricted gifts and pledges to the Campaign as well as the portions of past surplus and endowment income transferred to the campaign effort by the APSA Council will power programs to create and expand research, teaching, and service opportunities for political scientists in the 21st century.
The Second Century Fund will support the Centennial Center for Political Science, an international study center to be located in the Washington headquarters of the APSA, and professional opportunity grants including research and teaching residencies affiliated with the Centennial Center, though not exclusively, travel grants for advanced graduate students and scholars traveling from abroad, and support for workshops and colloquia on special topics.
Equally important, the Second Century Fund will provide the Association with the means to address the issues and problems which will inevitably challenge political science in the 21st century. A gift or pledge to the Second Century Fund is and investment in the continued growth and vitality of the political science discipline.
