Call: InterNationality: A Journal of Critical Global Studies A Non-APSA Publication Call for Submissions Deadline: July 31, 2008 A Call for Papers on Human Rights and Citizenship in Global Context The Editorial Board and the Managing Editor of InterNationality are pleased to invite submissions for the forthcoming inaugural issue focusing on the theme of Human Rights and Citizenship. InterNationality is a multidisciplinary venue for scholarship that critically engages political, economic, social, and cultural transformations of global significance and local resonance, and that insists on the necessary and mutually fertilizing dialogue between ideas and practice. We welcome submissions of scholarly articles based on original field research, or new lines of interpretation of existing findings. We seek work on major themes in global and cultural studies, transnationalism, international relations, environmental change, the study of major world regions, and related topics. The inaugural issue will address the topic of “Human Rights and Citizenship in Global Context.” This area is of growing concern to academics and policy makers in light of challenges to the nation-state, new flows of capital, people and ideas across increasingly porous borders, and the ongoing debate over the definition of human rights and the relevant groups and social movements which lay claim to them. We currently invite submissions on this topic in addition to general submissions pertaining to international and area studies. Please direct all inquiries and submissions to:
