Attractions in Boston

APSA once again will convene the Annual Meeting in the historic, picturesque, and fun city of Boston - a city that holds a wealth of attractions that will appeal to a wide variety of interests.

While in Boston, you can walk the 2.5 mile Freedom Trail and visit 16 significant colonial and Revolutionary War sites. Or, catch the Red Sox vs. the New York Yankees or the Chicago White Sox at historic Fenway Park. Those with a taste for art will certainly enjoy the Isabella Stuart Gardner Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts. Shoppers will find paradise on Newbury Street, which has everything from chic boutiques and hip trendy stores to classics like Brooks Brothers.

Take the kids to the New England Aquarium for sharks, shows, and even whale watching tours, or to the Boston Museum of Science for a great planetarium, hands-on science fun, and live presentations, or to the Children's Museum where they can walk through a Japanese house, visit the Global Gallery, and more.

At the end of the day, it's easy to find a great meal in the conference Back Bay area, nearby Beacon Hill, the North End and Little Italy, the bohemian South End, or Chinatown.
