• Previous Award Recipients 

The Best Book Award is given for the best book making outstanding contributions to the study of any and all forms of political conflict, either within or between nation-states, published in the two calendar years prior to the year in which the award is given. Books published in 2006 or 2007 dealing with issues of conflict and peace, broadly defined, will be eligible for the 2008 award.  Edited volumes and textbooks are not eligible for the award.  Nominations must be made by a member of the Conflict Processes section;  self-nominations are encouraged.  Nominations should be submitted by March 15, 2008.
