In celebration of the 25th anniversary of the Nelson A. Rockefeller Center and the 100th anniversary of the birth of Nelson A. Rockefeller, the Center is convening a conference of the fate of the political center in American politics.  We are soliciting papers from authors who are willing to address this issue from one of many institutional or mass politics perspectives.  Our website provides a detailed outline of the variety of directions we hope to pursue in the conference.
