Are you or your faculty members interested in speaking with journalists on issues of public interest?

As part of its public outreach initiative, APSA has developed a roster of political scientists who are willing to respond to media inquiries in their area of expertise. We ask that you circulate this announcement as widely as possible to those who might be interested in speaking with the media. To participate in the MediaConnect program, APSA members in good standing are asked to:  

• provide APSA with a work phone number, email address up to five keywords that best describe areas of expertise, and any URL to your personal homepage and CV (if available) -- send these to press@apsanet.org; 
• respond to media inquiries in a timely manner; and 
• periodically share your experiences with APSA staff to help refine the program.

If you have already submitted your name to an existing press roster on APSA's website, we have retained the information and you do not have to submit again. Email press@apsanet.org with your information or questions, or contact Bahram Rajaee at 202-483-2512. Your comments and suggestions, based upon your department’s experience with local or national media, are also invited.
