Related Group Chair Contact Information The Call for Papers for APSA Related Groups closed February 2008. Professional groups engaged in the study of political science, and unaffiliated with APSA, are invited and encouraged to participate in annual meetings as "related groups." The purpose for including these groups in the meeting is to promote teaching and research in political science or the professional development of political scientists. Related groups are most valuable to APSA as they add diversity and offer a broad spectrum of civic and political issues. Related groups also sponsor panels and roundtables at the Annual Meeting. Each group issues its own call, with its own submission guidelines and instructions.
