Attending the APSA conference for the first time or attending from overseas can seem somewhat overwhelming.  We'd like to suggest some events that may help you "break the ice" and some programs that first-timers and international attendees may find interesting.  Events will be published here as details develop.

• Related Groups Events: get to know the APSA's affiliated groups.  Check out the online program to find group events (link will be posted here in late May) 
  
• Short Courses:  half- or full-day sessions that provide APSA attendees with opportunities to enhance knowledge and to reinvigorate teaching and research skills 
  
• Working Groups: an opportunity to join with others interested in the same topic to share observations and ideas
