Campus Teaching Award Recognition                                    Nomination Deadline: July 1, 2008

Each year, APSA and Pi Sigma Alpha recognize political science faculty who receive teaching awards on their own campuses during the past academic year.  These faculty receive a certificate honoring their achievement, and they are invited to a special reception at the APSA Annual Meeting. A roster of campus-wide teaching award winners, their affiliations, and titles of their awards is featured in the Annual Meeting Program.

Rowman & Littlefield Award for Innovative Teaching in Political Science
Nomination Period Closed: Deadline was April 1, 2008

The nomination period for 2008 for the Rowman & Littlefield Award has ended.  Thank you to everyone who made a nomination. Be sure to attend the APSA Reception Honoring Teaching at the 2008 APSA Meeting in Boston.

Rowman & Littlefield Publishers proudly announces the twelfth year of the Rowman & Littlefield Award for Innovative Teaching in Political Science.  The award, which carries a $500 cash stipend, will be presented at the Honors Reception at the American Political Science Association Annual Meeting in Boston. The Innovative Teaching Award recognizes political scientists who have developed effective new approaches to teaching in the discipline.  The only limits on what will be recognized are the imagination and creativity of those teaching political science.
