JOURNAL Journal of Politics http://journalofpolitics.org/ The Journal of Politics is a general journal of political science. As such, it seeks to publish groundbreaking, theory-relevant work of the highest possible quality from all subfields of the discipline. The JOP does strive to maintain a balanced representation of all areas within political science. Therefore, the Journal welcomes excellent scholarship not only in American Politics, but also in all other subfields, such as Comparative Politics, Formal Theory, International Relations, Methodology, Normative Theory, Public Administration, and Public Policy. Founded in 1938, The Journal of Politics is published by Blackwell Publishers for the Southern Political Science Association.
