The purpose of the organized section on political networks is to promote intellectual exchange among scholars regarding the theoretical, methodological, and substantive, aspects of political networks. The study of political networks brings a new lens to bear on political science that reveals new theoretical and methodological insights. The organization seeks to promote better understanding of network theorizing and analysis across political science and to connect the study of networks in political science to other disciplines as well.
