APSA is pleased to congratulate four political science Ph.D. departments and their partnering institutions on their selection to receive grants of $20,000 over two years to participate in the project entitled, "Shaping the Preparation of Future Social Science and Humanities Faculty: A Preparing Future Faculty Project." APSA is one of six social science and humanities professional societies participating in this new project sponsored by the Council of Graduate Schools and American Association of Colleges and Universities.

The participating departments will collaborate with political science departments in (a combination of) non-doctoral universities, colleges and community colleges to provide professional preparation for academic careers to advanced doctoral candidates.
