41. Political Networks

The purpose of the Political Networks organized section is to promote intellectual exchange among scholars regarding the theoretical, methodological, and substantive, aspects of political networks.  The study of political networks brings a new lens to bear on political science that reveals new theoretical and methodological insights.  The organization seeks to promote better understanding of network theorizing and analysis across political science and to connect the study of networks in political science to other disciplines as well.  The study of political networks transcends the boundaries of the traditional subfields of political science by embracing work in American and comparative politics, international relations, public policy and administration, political methodology, and political theory.
