Whether it is the 2008 presidential election, globalization, or the planet’s ecosystem, the implications of change are being fiercely debated in the political arena. Under the broad theme of “Looking Back on a Year of Change and Challenges,” a call for papers to the 2009 Georgia Political Science Association is issued—proposals need not address the theme to be selected.

Teaching faculty, graduate students, and advanced undergraduate students are encouraged to submit research for discussion and review at the 41st annual conference to be held at the Callaway Gardens, Mountain Creek Inn. Papers are accepted from all fields of Political Science as well as related disciplines.

Scholars and faculty can choose to submit their presented papers for consideration for publication in our edited and refereed annual proceedings.
These proceedings are published online each year. The best paper will be selected for the McBrayer Award which has a $500 cash prize attached. Undergraduate research nominated by member faculty can be considered for the annual Pajari award.
