Home Annual Meeting Workshop for Chairs Events for Chairs at the 2012 Annual Meeting The 2012 Annual Meeting will feature a chairs workshop and luncheon and a theme panel on topics specifically oriented toward departmental officers.  Additionally, there will be a job market and placement panel oriented to doctoral students, graduate directors, and faculty interested in both academic and nonacademic employment.  All events are sponsored by the APSA Departmental Services Committee.  More information will be forthcoming The 2011 Workshop and Luncheon for Department Chairs, entitled "Unwitting Leader: How to be an Effective Department Chair, and Live to Tell About it" was held on Friday, September 2 2011.
