Pledge an Extended Gift With an extended pledge, you will be pleased to see that you can make larger gifts than you thought possible. Gifts of Marketable Securities By giving a gift of stock at its current market value, donors may enjoy full tax value of the gift, including appreciation. Planned Giving Planned giving comes in several forms. Deferred giving through bequests in wills and codicils is the most common form. Other approaches include making APSA the owner or beneficiary of a life insurance policy, transferring real property, IRA, and gifts of closely-held stock.
