2008 Council Election Results November 3, 2008

The results of the 2008 Council election are official.  The eight candidates receiving the most votes were Kathleen Hall Jamieson, Rose McDermott, Maria Victoria Murillo, Jodi Dean, Mark A. Peterson, Sherri L. Wallace, Jonathan Benjamin-Alvarado, and Franke Wilmer. They take office on the Council effective immediately.  Walter R. Mebane was not elected.

Total voter turnout for the election was 4,416, which is 30.3% of all eligible voters.  In the past, the association has had 30.4, 30.8, and 30.3 % voter turnouts for the election.
