Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender Caucus

The LGBT Caucus of the APSA is accepting proposals for papers and roundtable discussions for the 2012 Annual Meeting. The 2012 conference theme is “Representation and Renewal.” While proposals on any aspect of LGBT/Queer politics are welcome, in keeping with the conference theme we especially welcome papers that address how LGBTQ interests fare in local, state, national, and international political institutions and what procedures and strategies might strengthen political representation of LGBTQ interests. We invite papers that approach the issue of LGBT representation from a variety of perspectives and using a variety of methods.
