The Conference Group on the Middle East
A. Richard Norton, arn@bu.edu (Boston University) The CGME will address the consequences of the invasion and occupation of Iraq in 2003. In particular, papers addressing the domestic, regional and international political ramifications of the Iraq war are welcome, as well as papers analyzing the transnational dimensions of the conflict and upheaval. Empirically-founded assessments of the future prospects for Iraq are also solicited. Preference will be given to proposals that reflect relevant field experience. Proposals focusing on the decision-making prior to the invasion will generally be declined. The tradition of the CGME includes the preparation of concise papers. |
