China and the Great Recession

As the association focused on China, ACPS seeks paper proposals that link China with the central themes of the 2010 APSA convention and examine the domestic and international dimensions of how China might have been implicated in the great recession and how it has coped with it. There are no restrictions with respect to theoretical or methodological perspectives but scholars are encouraged to examine the relevant issues, for example, the extension of retirement benefits for rural residents, in their proper historical and comparative perspective. The ACPS is particularly interested in papers which make good use of primary source materials and are theoretically oriented.

Paper proposals should not exceed 250 words and should contain the author’s name, title and affiliation, paper title, and paper abstract.
