The purpose of the APCG is to promote recognition within professional associations of the theoretical and methodological contributions to the discipline of political scientists whose research centers largely or in part on Sub-Saharan Africa. The APCG invites proposals on topics relevant to African politics for its panels at the 2012 American Political Science Association meeting. We are especially eager to receive proposals related to the meeting theme, "Representation and Renewal."
