Awards
The Mary Parker Follett Award is given for the best article or chapter in politics and history published in 2008 or 2009. The deadline for nominations March 1, 2010.

The J. David Greenstone Award is given for the best book in politics and history published in 2008 or 2009. Hard copies of books nominated should be sent to each of the committee members by March 1, 2010.

The Walter Dean Burnham Award is given for the best dissertation in the field of Politics and History. The committee welcomes nominations of outstanding dissertations from Ph.D.s awarded in either 2008 or 2009. To nominate a dissertation for this award, send an abstract of the dissertation and a supportive letter from the advisor or other faculty member of the dissertation committee to the Gerald Berk, University of Oregon. The deadline for initial nominations is March 1, 2010.
The awards committee will subsequently be in touch with advisors for full copies of dissertations selected from among this initial pool of nominations.
