Paper & Article Awards

About APSA

APSA presents the following paper and journal article awards at the APSA Annual Meeting. Nominations for these should be submitted to the APSA office via email or post by December 1 of each year. For details on each award, click on the name of the award.

Franklin L. Burdette/Pi Sigma Alpha Award For the best paper presented at the previous annual meeting. Program Division Chairs of the previous year's annual meeting are invited to submit one paper from their division as a nomination for the best paper of the annual meeting. [$750]
Heinz I. Eulau Award For the best articles published in the American Political Science Review and Perspectives on Politics during the previous calendar year. Three-member award committees select the best article from the previous year's volumes of the American Political Science Review and Perspectives on Politics. [$750]
