Information Technology and Politics
The purpose of this section is to provide a forum for members with an interest in the use of computers, the Internet, and multimedia in teaching, research, and policy applications in political science and all related subfields and disciplines.

The Information Technology & Politics Section also hosts a Research Database--an online database of events, people and organizations of interest to researchers and practitioners involved in IT and politics. The database includes member biographies and research interests; journals and CFP's; conferences and events; research projects; books and bibliographies; working papers; and resources. The Best Graduate Student Paper Award recognizes the best, sole-authored, conference paper written by a political science graduate student working in the area of information technology and politics. The competition is for papers presented at a political science conference in the previous calendar year. Nominations should be received by March 31, 2012.
