The Best Paper on Public Policy Award is given for the best paper on Public Policy given at the previous APSA Annual Meeting. Nominations should be received by February 1, 2009.

The Aaron Wildavsky Enduring Contribution Award is given for a book or article published in the last ten to twenty years that continues to influence the study of public policy. Nominations should be received by February 1, 2009.

The Harold D. Lasswell Award is awarded annually by the American Political Science Association for the best dissertation in the field of public policy. It is co-sponsored by the Policy Studies Association and the Public Policy Section. This award carries a prize of 1,000. Dissertations must have been completed in the previous calendar year. Applicants should send one copy of their dissertations to each of the committee members. The applications must include a letter of support provided by the Graduate Director of the program in which the candidate produced the dissertation.

The Best Poster on Public Policy Award is given for the best paper or poster presented at the poster session at the previous APSA meeting. All posters will automatically be reviewed by the committee; no nominations are required. NOTE: In this first year of the committee's existence, they will estabilish rules of eligibilty and make the first award at the 2010 meetings based on posters at 2009.
