Proposal and Application Procedures
Small Research Grant Program Proposal Scope & Format Proposals should address a significant problem in political science. Proposal narratives are limited to 5 single-spaced, single-sided pages. Your narrative should:

Applications that do not adhere to the proposal scope or format will be disqualified. RECOMMENDATIONS ARE NOT REQUIRED. Proposals that include a recommendation will also be disqualified. 2013 applications should be submitted electronically and materials should be organized in the following order:
Send your completed application as one .pdf document to researchgrants@apsanet.org. Exceptions will be made for applicants who can not submit .pdf files. If you need an exception please contact researchgrants@apsanet.org at least one week prior to the February 4, 2013 deadline. DO NOT FAX OR SEND HARD COPIES BY MAIL. Applications for the 2013 cycle will officially open December 3, 2012 and close February 4, 2013. Notification will occur as quickly as possible once the review process has been completed, generally in late April or early May.
