Call for Submissions: Brazilian Political Science Review
A Non-APSA Publication

Printer-friendly format

Website: http://www.bpsr.org.br

The Editors of Brazilian Political Science Review invite their colleagues to submit (submission@bpsr.org.br) articles, ongoing research notes and/or book reviews to the coming issues - 2008.1 and 2008.2 . The only English language political science and international relations journal from Brazil, BPSR is published electronically twice a year. Its main goal is to provide a broad venue for the diffusion of high-quality political science work produced in Brazil, and abroad, thus broadening the exchange of ideas with the international political science community.  The review's scope is broad, as it will consider submissions representing the entire range of political science research - theoretical or empirical, cross-national or focused on a single-country, quantitative or qualitative - subject to a process of blind peer review.

We invite you to access our first issue at http://bpsr.org.br/english/revista/natual.htm where you can read the following articles:

  • "Going Home in Peace: The Economy of Virtues, and Apathy as a Right"
    Bruno P.W.Reis
  • "Europe debates its destiny"
    Sonia de Camargo
  • "Tradition and diversification in the uses and definitions of the Law: A proposed analysis"
    Fabiano Engelmann
  • "Relevant Factors for the Voting Decision in the 2002 Presidential Election: An Analysis of the ESEB (Brazilian Electoral Study) Data"
    Yan de Souza Carreirão
  • "Career Choice and Legislative Reelection: Evidence from Brazil and Colombia"
    Felipe Botero & Lucio Rennó
