The award was set up in honor of William Anderson, former APSA president, who was a leading American authority in the areas of local government, public administration, intergovernmental relations and the history of political science. 2010 Nomination Information Departments are requested to submit a letter of nomination and a copy of the dissertation to each award committee member, and a letter of nomination only to the APSA office by January 15, 2010.
