Data from the 2000 U.S. Census show that the population of Asian Americans in the United States had grown to over 10 million. As a segment of the U.S. population, their growing in political strength and activism is something of keen interest to political scientists. With Andrew Aoki serving as a guest editor, PS offered this Symposium of six articles by scholars exploring the realm of Asian American politics.
