Click here to find out what's happening at the next APSA Annual MeetingThe 100th Annual Meeting, held in Chicago on September 2-5, 2004, marked one hundred years of scholarly exchange at an American Political Science Association Annual Meeting.

The Program Committee led by Program Co-Chairs Atul Kohli, Princeton University and Anne Norton, University of Pennsylvania created and formed an exciting program of over 700 panels, roundtables, theme sessions, poster sessions and plenary events that investigated the causes and consequences of global inequalities, helping to craft a political science that is humane, conscious of its relation to power, and concerned with its ethical implications. Overall attendance was over 5700 individuals from around the world.

The slate of high profile events during APSA's historic centennial meeting was one of the most exciting in the Association's 100-year history. American financer and philantrophist George Soros, Former President of Ireland and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Mary Robinson, and economics Nobel Prize Laureate Joseph E. Stiglitz were among many well-known personalities and scholars addressing the meeting theme, "Global Inequalities."
