For nine months, select political scientists, journalists, doctors, federal executives and international scholars gain "hands on" understanding of the legislative process by serving on congressional staffs.

  • Minority Fellows Program a fellowship competition designed to increase the number of minority Ph.D.'s in political science and to encourage institutions to provide financial assistance to them.

  • Small Research Grant Program This APSA grant program supports research conducted by faculty at non Ph.D. granting institutions that have funding sources available for faculty research.

  • Centennial Center Visiting Scholars  The APSA Centennial Center assists scholars from the United States and abroad whose research and teaching would benefit from a stay in Washington, D.C. and access to the incomparable resources that are available in the nation's capital.
