APSA Election Ends
All Member Election to Determine 8 Council Seats

November 11, 2005: During the Annual Business Meeting on September 3, 2005,  Elections Committee Chair Judith Baer verified a challenge to the slate of nominees for seats on the APSA Council. Consequently, an all-member electronic election was held to determine the eight Council members who will serve on the 2005-06 Council in addition to the officers who were declared elected without contest.  The election began on October 3 and ended November 2, 2005.

Notification to participate in the election was sent via postcard and email on October 3 to all current APSA members as of September 26, 2005.  Email notifications were sent throughout the election period.
