Civic Education for the Next Century Gets New Editor

August 9, 2005: Eric Bergrud has volunteered to edit and manage the listserv Civic Education for the Next Century.  Eric Bergrud currently serves as Director of the International Center for Civic Engagement and Special Assistant to the President for University Projects on Civic Engagement at Park University, Parkville, Missouri.

Civic Education for the Next Century is a public forum for discussion between the Association, the Task Force on Civic Education, and individuals interested in civic education, civic trust, and civic engagement.  APSA-CIVED@h-net.msu.edu (see http://www.h-net.org/~cived/) was established as part of the working partnership between APSA and H-Net, Humanities and Social Sciences OnLine. The listserv is moderated to ensure that content adheres to the list mission.
