Current Employment Opportunities at APSA Manager, Research and Surveys The American Political Science Association seeks a talented person to coordinate institutional surveys and data collection. Primary responsibility will be to lead the Association’s annual departmental surveys, coordinating with staff and members on content, marketing surveys, and developing relationships with departments to ensure strong response rates. This person will coordinate dissemination of reports and analysis to institutions and individual members. The Manager of Research and Surveys will help formulate and execute overall strategy for dissemination of data collected internally and externally, tracking and sorting related data sets with impact to political science. This person will also assist in development of internal surveys to measure member satisfaction with programs and assist in maintaining the Association database, with emphasis on tracking alumni of association programs. The Manager of Research and Surveys will serve as part of the Member Services team and participate in ongoing membership activities. Requirements: Completion of a Master’s degree and three-to-five years of related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience; knowledge of higher education community and statistics and research methodology; Computer skills for research and statistical analysis. Must be highly organized and have ability to help develop organizational-wide priorities and work cooperatively to support their accomplishment. ABOUT APSA: APSA has a full-time staff of 26.
