The annual visit to the Maryland Statehouse in Annapolis offers Fellows the opportunity to compare one model of state government to the federal system. The day-long seminar features a range of speakers from Maryland's legislative and administrative branches of government.
Offered in conjunction with the Maryland Institute for Policy Analysis & Research at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County, the seminar is coordinated by the Institute's Director, Donald Norris, and Associate Director Linda Brown.
Dr. Norris holds a B.S. in History from the University of Memphis and an M.A. and a Ph.D. in government from the University of Virginia.
