Mexican Political Science Association
Mission Statement: AMECIP’s main purpose is to advance in Mexico research and teaching in politics, as well as to reach out academics and scientists across the world in order to promote scholarship in politics. AMECIP also aspires to become a suitable space to underpin the academic formation of students on political science and related disciplines.

Description:

AMECIP (Asociación Mexicana de Ciencias Políticas) stands for Mexican Political Science Association, in Spanish; this association is currently formed by almost two hundred members across Mexico, most of them Senior and Junior professors of political science, although there are also graduate and undergraduate students as well as young professionals of political science and of other related disciplines in this academic association. AMECIP is divided up in twenty six specialist groups whose purpose is to promote research and scholarly work in specific areas. Ranging from Political Theory to Globalization and International Studies, these specialist groups take part in the organization and coordination of the Annual Meeting of AMECIP, which welcomes papers in English from our colleagues across the world.

Journals:

  • De Política. Revista de la Asociación Mexicana de Ciencias Políticas. (On Politics. Journal of the Mexican Association of Political Science).
