Departmental Resources for Graduate Students

Check out these student resources available to graduate and undergraduate students in APSA member departments.

Resources for Graduate Student Students
Department Sponsored Student Membership
Through the department-sponsored membership program, departments can subsidize a year of APSA membership for their Masters and Ph.D. students. The cost for providing complimentary membership to these students is shared equally by APSA and the sponsoring department. A department may sponsor as many students as they wish to fund.

Access to eJobs placement interview service
APSA provides space and facilities for employers who have posted an eJobs listing to interview candidates onsite at the meeting. The service is provided as a complimentary member benefit to DSP (Departmental Services) members with posted eJobs.

Mentoring Program
The Mentoring Program connects undergraduate, graduate students, and junior faculty to experienced and senior members of the profession for professional development mentoring.

Diversity and Inclusion Programs
Achieving diversity and inclusion in political science is a priority for the American Political Science Association. Recognizing the many differences — among them, demographic, substantive, intellectual, pedagogical, methodological — and leveraging this variation is critical not only to the success of individual political scientists but to the strength and longevity of the disciplinary enterprise.
